Krzysztof, Yes, you currently can open word templates... but I think you missed what I said in the previous message: As soon as I fix this bug on the OpenOffice side it will cause nautilus to not open word templates any longer. But yes I intend to fix the issue with the 3.0.1~rc2 update probably later this week.
