Public bug reported: Currently, nautilus is not capable of executing files or determining permissions over the network. When going to the permissions tab it says "The permissions of ___ couldn't be determined". Chmod is a pretty common operation.
Also, there is no way to execute scripts/binary files. When running an executable binary file, this error is displayed: Couldn't display (address) This error message isn't really that helpful at all. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed -- Can't execute over SSH. https://launchpad.net/bugs/44441 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
