Public bug reported: 1) Open rhythmbox and play some file 2) Pause the current song 3) Put your computer on sleep 4) Wait 1 minute (until the computer is well on sleep) 5) Open you computer 6) Try to "unpause" rhythmbox : nothing will be played, the cursor will stay immobile.
Workaround : close rhythmbox and restart it. Reproducible : always (tested on two completely unrelated laptops running intrepid) I have no idea if it's related to rhythmbox, gstreamer, pulseaudio, linux sleep or a combination of them. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: 1) Open rhythmbox and play some file 2) Pause the current song 3) Put your computer on sleep 4) Wait 1 minute (until the computer is well on sleep) 5) Open you computer 6) Try to "unpause" rhythmbox : nothing will be played, the cursor will stay immobile. + Workaround : close rhythmbox and restart it. + Reproducible : always (tested on two completely unrelated laptops running intrepid) I have no idea if it's related to rhythmbox, gstreamer, pulseaudio, linux sleep or a combination of them. -- Rhythmbox doesn't play anymore after a computer sleep https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/309011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
