I tried the newest version from https://launchpad.net/~freenx- team/+archive for Hardy. The bug still exists but the keyboard is now broken in a different way. For example the right arrow key does not work from Ubuntu 8.10 and Mac OS X clients. I'm using a german keyboard. MS Windows as client works fine.
