Form-saving support is present in Intrepid, with evince 2.24.1-0ubuntu1
and libpoppler3 0.8.7-1; I don't know how this didn't get mentioned
loudly in a changelog entry (the word 'form' doesn't appear anywhere in
there), but it's certainly fixed now.
The particular form supplied by perlhead still corrupts on save with a
new upstream version (Poppler and Evince both pulled from their current
VCS sources); I've opened bug 307459 on that one, as it's a separate
issue from Evince not saving the contents of forms at all.
