Under Metacity and Openbox (both from dapper) gnome-terminal's profile dialog did _not_ show this "behavior" so I totally agree that this is related to OroboROX.
This bug should therefore be _closed_! I will report this to the maintainer of oroborox instead. OroboROX (http://rox.sourceforge.net/desktop/OroboROX) is a window manager based on oroborus (http://www.oroborus.org/). OroboROX is specially designed to integrate very well with rox-filer.
