Public bug reported: Affects: gnome-menus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed
Description: After creating a normal user account without sudo privileges some menu items are removed from the GNOME menus, which is great. However, on the Applications menu there is a leftover separator bar at the bottom. For sudo-accounts there is a menu item "Add / Remove software" there, but for non-sudoers only the separator is shown. It could be removed to reduce clutter and unnecessary elements. Not sure where to file this, took my chances on the gnome-menus package. -- Stray "Application" menu separator for normal user https://launchpad.net/bugs/44107 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
