1 week of testing before going to freenx-team ppa. Needs FreeNX >= 0.7.3+svn612-0freenxteam9. Let me know your experiences. Troubleshooting: If "$ xprop -root | grep XKB" prints "_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING)" != "_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING)", probably gnome is overriding the settings created by nx session: "$ gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd" this will make gnome use NX settings. If up-arrow triggers screen shot then: "$ killall metacity" this will force metacity to update to the new keycodes.
