I'm having the same problem. I have 2 8.10 systems. One I can use 'ssh -YC <system name> gnome-terminal' the other fails with: -> ssh -YC -l ron server gnome-terminal ** ERROR:terminal-app.c:1525:terminal_app_init: assertion failed: (app->default_profile_id != NULL)
