Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
With nautilus displaying folders and the side pane displayed if I drag a file from the desktop to a folder and pass over any area of the side pane that contains text the drag freezes and Nautilus tries to drop the file in the "/" folder. In order to successfully complete the d 'n d operation I have to pass over a blank area of the side pane. I expect to be able to complete the d'n d operation successfully no matter what the drag passes over on the way to the destination. Ubuntu 8.04.01 release 8.04 - Nautilus 2.22.5.1 This behavior is annoying but not earth shattering and should be on the list of things to fix.
