All start working now; In this time I did created a new unix user, and as this user I entered the PIN (which was then instantly saved apparently).
Now (even after reboot) when I use the older users even, there is no need to re-enter PIN. Perhaps this problem was due to moving only /home and perhaps the new system lacked some files or something needed to have the password storage fully working? Imho it would be good to track down this bug. -- gnome-keyring fails to store passwords (after system upgrade done by moving /home) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296736 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
