Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: file-roller

This is actually I think a duplicate of another bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/80755 but that
was reported for Feisty over a year ago.

This occurs in Intrepid (sorry I'm late with the bug reporting, but I
have only one main computer, so I can't afford to alpha and beta test
with it).

If I double-click a .tar.gz file, File-Roller appears. Then I click
Extract, and I get the Extract dialogue.

The dialogue focuses on Desktop, but if I just click OK, nothing
happens.

I have to click explicitly on Desktop (even though it's already
focused), and then I can click OK to get it to extract the archive to
the desktop.

Can this be fixed for Jaunty?

I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 on an Eee PC 701. Thanks.

** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
