Public bug reported: Affects: nautilus-cd-burner (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed
Description: Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner Nautilus-cd-burner doesn't seem to work with SMB shares. ISO image files on Nautilus network shares are missing "Write to Disc..." from the right-click context menu. Thus, there is no way to burn an ISO file on a network share from the GUI. To reproduce: 1. Connect to a SMB network share from Nautilus. (Places -> Connect to Server) 2. Navigate to the ISO file on the shared folder. 3. Right-click on the file. The "Write to Disc..." option is not there. 4. Copying the file to your local hard disk and then right-clicking enables the burn option. But I have a small local hard drive... :-( -- Can't burn ISO images on smb network shares https://launchpad.net/bugs/43736 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
