Having a notification is not a solution. Its a useful idea for people who actually want to use mousekey, but I bet the large majority doesn't and just wants to see this bug fixed.
Its interesting almost everyone reporting this bug uses VNC or similar, so I concur the bug seems to be related to it. Are you guys using a US qwerty keyboard layout? I had to define my (belgian) keyboard in tsclient, Im wondering if that plays a role or not, because until I defined the keyboard layout as "fr-be", I didnt have a numeric keypad on the the remote client. Exactly the same keys that act up with the mousekey thing. Coincidence?
