Thanks BUGabundo, Yes, you are only able to test Suspend via a LiveCD, not Hibernate. You mention it's the resume that is failing so can you take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend and attach your dmesg output after an attempted suspend/resume cycle? Thanks.
