Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution used to preserve the password for the SMTP outgoing server (I have only one), so that I didn't have to re-enter it everytime. After a recent upgrade (currently showing 2.24.0), I have to provide the SMTP password once each session. I have not tested what the definition of a 'session' is, but it is really annoying! I am using ubuntu 8.10 beta, latest version, all patched, as of Oct-18-2008. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution does not preserve outgoing SMTP Password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285782 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
