Upstream closed the report. Upstream comment: "CDDA support was removed from totem in August 2007. You can still play audio CDs if you open the right URI manually (for the GStreamer backend, that'd be cdda://<track-number>, so you can still play other tracks by adding cdda://2 etc), but you should really use a different application for audio CD playback, like sound-juicer or rhythmbox or banshee or whatever."
This makes me wonder, why is the default audio CD player still Totem?
