Thanks for reporting this bug. We need a little more information. Primarily we need to be able to reproduce it on our system. Could you confirm the following:
* Opening a file, say 'foo.JPG' and saving it with a different name, e.g. 'bar.JPG', in your home directory triggers the bug. * Opening a file, say 'foo.JPG' in your home directory, changing it in The GIMP and saving it back to the same name triggers the bug.
