I do not agree that this is a Beagle bug because (by default) beagled runs as 
your own user and indexes only your home directory.  Running the indexer as 
root on the entire file system seems to be a Very Bad Idea from a security 
standpoint.

If the intended behaviour for most people is to search the entier filesystem 
nautilus should be changed to not use beagled even if running, but I think most 
users running beagled understand and are happy with this.

If no maintainer intends to make a change from the Nautilus side, please close 
this bug.
