Hi Andreas, Yes it's still the same. (in hardy amd64) though the gtk industrial tango theme has changed names again
1) apt-get install industrialtango-theme 2) create /etc/gtk/gtkrc and insert the following ============================================================= include "/usr/share/themes/IndustrialTango/gtk/gtkrc" style "default-text" { fontset = "-adobe-helvetica-medium-o-normal--10-100-75-75-p-57-iso10646-1,\ -*-r-*-iso10646-1,*" } class "*" style "default-text" ============================================================= attached is a tgz showing the progression from default->better font->better font+theme (still think a ubuntu gtk1.2 theme would be cool, base it on the industrial-tango theme and "ubuntise" the colours in a new gtkrc) BTW (off topic) xmms is missing from the repos even though the xmms plugins are still available? so I've used putty as an example gtk1.2 app ** Attachment added: "progression from default -> better font -> better font+theme" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17435060/putty-screenies.tgz -- gtk1.2 default installation doesn't need to look so ordinary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/71071 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+1.2 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
