Sebastien... Please forgive my ignorance...i'm searching through my memory banks for the meaning of/for hardy or intrepid...
i believe i can add no more info to this unless "plain" english is spoken.. lol and sorry... albeit.. since taken the leap from that ugly of all bill gates inventions..to Ubuntu.. (of all the distro's installed easily and well on my computer hardware's specs)... i have had no probs... feisty fawn read all my data cd's and dvd's/.. but after upgrading it has since failed to show or view unhidden folders... Alas my competency within a terminal window is minimal to say the least... i`m sure its an easy fix... also to add.. if it has happened here in my little home comp i`m sure it will happen elsewhere perhaps it has something to do with the upgrade and maybe a little to do with the deletion of old files via the upgrade but i do need help as such that the folder i wish to view was hidden so as the kids could not modify it .. and stupid I burnt it to a disc while still in hidden mode...i can of course boot into windows.. but you know what.. i promised myself i would persevere this time having tried red hat and older previous distro's Copernicus -- unable to view hidden folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259689 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
