This is also occurring for me in Dapper AMD64 2006-04-25. I have a
Lexmark E232 connected by USB. It is detected correctly and I have
configured it to use the Generic PCL 6 driver. It defaults to A4. I have
altered /etc/papersize to "letter" but it still shows A4 in the
dialogues. I also note that I can change from "Normal Grayscale" to
"High Quality Grayscale" in the Advanced tab of the Properties dialogue
but this change never sticks: when closing and re-opening the dialogue
the default "Normal Grayscale" is back, as is A4.
