After the latest security updates last week in Hardy, I'm seeing this same problem again.
Generated the attached by running "gnome-power-manager --no-daemon --verbose" and then launching System->Preferences->Power Management and adjusting the time to put the monitor asleep. The DPMS timeout is always 0 0 0 no matter what I do. Now my LDC is marked with the outline of several windows... Anyone else seeing this? Other ideas I can chase down? I'm using stock everything for Hardy, Dell E173FP monitor, Intel 82865G Graphics Controller in Dell Desktop. ** Attachment added: "gpm_output.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16366229/gpm_output.txt -- [Hardy] display doesn't go to sleep after today's gnome-power-manager update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203513 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
