  Using Gutsy, I'm not able to control the volume of my Plantronics DSP
- 400 USB headset via the gnome volume manager.  It does work properly for

  I am able to properly control the volume using the curses alsamixer, so
- it seems related to the gnome volume manager interfaces only.
