Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller
Some file extensions or mime types do not use the external applications defined when opened from file-roller. For example, opening a .cpp file asks the user with what application to run this file with, when nautilus uses the default text edit application (my case: gedit). Other extensions include .exe (when wine is installed), .tcl, README (not an extension), AUTHORS and more. One interesting thing is, that file types that you would consider 'similar' to other types such as .c or INSTALL. Using file-roller 2.22.3-0ubuntu1. ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- File-roller does not integrate with mime types https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248593 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
