This is the bug I am getting with Compiz but not Metacity: Precondition: Set up Firefox to open a new link in a new window instead of a new tab (using the Preferred Applications Dialog) 1.) Open Evolution 2.) Click on a link in an e-mail 3.) Firefox opens with the link and comes into front/focus. 4.) Switch back to Evolution and select another link 5.) A new Firefox window opens with the link but it stays in the back This only happens with Compiz. When Firefox is set up to open the new link in a new tab instead it works with Metacity and Compiz. In both cases Firefox jumps to the front opening the link in the new tab. -- new windows are put in the background https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
