You have been subscribed to a public bug: If you are using Totem or Rythmbox, you have to middle-clik the "time slider" to go to a specific moment of the video/music track. If you left-click on the timeline, nothing happens, you can only drag the slider using left-click.
I think a lot of user does not know the possibilities of the middle- click but try to left-click the timeline. I think we can have left-click and middle-click to do the same operation safely. IMPORTANT : If you look at the behaviour of a standard slider (like in the mouse preferences), you can left-click OR middle-click to place the slider at a specific place. Why Totem or Rhythmbox have different behaviour? ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Totem timeslider can't be placed by lef-click https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/244157 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
