I plugged in my Ipod this morning to get further debug info. Everything works now though (I had transfered music to it using Winamp at home).
Perhaps this bug is only a problem adding music to brand-new Ipod's? It can't properly initialize a music folder or something similar perhaps? At any rate, I cannot provide proper debug information as I can't get it to crash again...
