thank you for your bug report, you have a menu item you can use if you
don't know how the shortcuts are working and which open the dialog which
let you choose how to screenshot, adding an extra step for people who
know what they are doing would be really annoying, we are not going to
change the default

When I hit "Print Screen" it should let me choose to take a screenshot of the
whole screen or the active window
