Hi Sebastien, I feared that you'd say that, because I prefer how it was in Gutsy - not visible -, at least the other volume in the root directory still isn't. So the conclusion seems to be, the different behaviour in Hardy is supposed to be a feature not a bug. Assuming I'll have to move to questions & answers to find out if there is a trick to hide the volume. Many thanks for your effort and patience.
