Public bug reported: Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed
Description: In a completed updated Dapper (gedit 2.14.2), printed documents show a 'block' (unknown character icon) before each tab. I've tried creating new files, and with/without the Indent plugin, but all tab characters get the 'block' added when printed. The print preview does not show the 'block'. I am using the "English (United States of America)" locale setting in GNOME. Because I needed to test out my scanner drivers anyway, here is a scan of the printed page. The first 4 lines were indented using the tab key on my keyboard, and the rest were with the Indent plugin: http://www.hoodidge.net/bugs/indents.png -- Printed Document Shows Block for Tabs https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/39698 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
