Ok Not sure if this is the same problem or not and new to this... so hope this is correct
Hardy Heron 64 bit - Quad core Intel - 4 GB Ram - software raid Starting f-spot from the menu - i see the message saying starting f-spot on the task bar. Then it disappears.
