Running with the same versions, I can confirm the bug. mp3, ogg, wma all the same. Same behavior: slider doesn't move and no sound comes out, but everything else appears to work as expected. It happens kind of a lot for me, and stopping or restarting pulseaudio or restarting rhythmbox has no effect. Rebooting my machine works to fix it every time, until it inevitably slips back into the bad state a day or two later. No problem playing other audio, just rhythmbox gets upset.
