to the maximum value on lenovoT60
+ Hardy gnome-power-manager fails to brighten/dim in even steps and doesn't
bright the display to the maximum value on lenovoT60

** Description changed:

- Hello, I had this problem on my fiesty, gutsy and now in hardy seems to go
one step further for the bad.
- My system is a lenovo t60 and after installing Hardy I have noticed this:
+ Hello, it goes like this:

- - when pressing Fn+PgUp (brighten combination) there are 4-5 steps that
- go as supposed, upwards but when Fn+PgDn (dimm combination) there are
- only 3 steep steps down to dimmest.
+ - boot into hardy and ubuntu starts with the lowest brightness available;
+ - press Fn+Home (brightness up) and there are 5 steps instead of 7 and
brightness doesn't go to the max (if gdm is killed there are 7 steps to the
maximum brightness)
+ - press Fn+End (brightness down) there are 3 steep steps until lowest
brightness (also from 7 )

- - Also it seems that brightness doesn't go up as bright as on windows.
- When the power cable is unplugged, the brightness dimms, then plug in
- again and the brightness goes up a level but not as bright as first,
- when the computer was booted with AC power on.
-
- I am new to reporting bugs so please advice what commands should I issue
- and post their output here...
-
- Thanks in advance.
+ Please tell me whta commands to log to give some relevant information
+ about this bug.
