Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Whenever compiz would crash in gusty, I could go to System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual effects tab and choose "Custom" to restore its custom settings configured via CompizConfig. Now, that radio button doesn't exist, or at least, when it crashes (which AFAIK is basically some very strange process deciding to change aforementioned radio button to "none") the button vanishes. THIS IS NOT GOOD!!! It means I have to manually set all of my configuration settings (I have extensive configuration). It seems that the radio buttons which used to choose between several presets and a custom one now break into and mess up CompizConfig. Combined with Bug #225014, this is going to make OpenOffice.org almost impossible for me to use.
