Hi, a discussion started here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4986873#post4986873 with people having similar problems on Dell D830. I don't have this problem related to plugging/unplugging just with leaving it for a few minutes. Example when playing music standalone cpu peaks and sound stutters for several seconds. This, however, happened too several times when playing video (flash or mplayer alike) while I was working in another window.
