I'm having this problem with trying to select and use a 106-key Japanese keyboard. Under System/Preference/Keyboard, I choose a 106-key Japanese style keyboard with English as my language. However, this change is never applied properly (a 101-key model still appears to be the default setup). Device Manager continues to show a Japanese 101-key keyboard vice the correct 106-key keyboard that I request. -- Dapper: Keyboard selector doesn't work https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32188
