Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I have an issue with the battery always shown as if it is present in Power Manager 2.22.1-1ubuntu4, Ubuntu Hardy on a Dell Precision M90. Running on battery power is fine, as it is while charging. However, if the battery is unplugged, the power manager still shows the battery as present and being charged. The icon display option I am using is "Only display an icon when a battery is present", but it also happens with the "Only display an icon when charging or discharging" or "Always display an icon". I have been doing quite a research before posting this but i think this is not a duplicate bug. Thanks. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Battery always shown as present https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228821 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
