The issue here doesn't seem to be linked to GPM but to my webcam driver. Reboot is immediate if I use the command : gnome-power-cmd.sh reboot The long delai is between the command quit ( from the menu system or from the button on the toolbar ) and the pop-up of the menu which allow to select following action ( quit , reboot, change user ... ). There is no more delai if : -) I load and unload the webcam driver ( quickcam recompiled for logitech qui kacam messenger ID 046d:08f6 ) -) I disconnect & reconnect the webcam ( which induced the loading of the driver ) Is there a way to track more deeper where the problem is ?
