You have been subscribed to a public bug: This is a minor but annoying cosmetic bug in Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy that occurs when Crux is the selected theme for System > Preferences > Appearance > Theme (tab) > Customize (menu buttion) > Controls (tab). System > Quit..., the top right-hand button on the default gnome menubar, or pressing ctrl + alt + Delete displays a menu that allows one to Log out, Lock Screen, Switch User, Suspend, Hibernate, Restart, or Shutdown. Under the previously mentioned configuration, the Cancel menu item is highlighted as expected. However, if the users uses the arrow keys to select an item, nothing will be highlighted unless he/she returns to Cancel. The description displayed within the menu is the only way to identify the option currently selected via keyboard. There are probably more important bugs that need to be fixed, but having this issue resolved would make Ubuntu more flexible in its ease-of-use.
