Steps to reproduce. You will need to have firefox and be on a page that has a link to a (say) postscript document. Lets call it 'psdoc.ps' for this test,
Test 1: 1. open evince first with any other document on your PC 2. open firefox and maximize it 3. In firefox, go to the page with the link to 'psdoc.ps' 4. click on link to 'psdoc.ps' 5. evince window will open on top. Now, close that evince window 6. Click on the same link (to 'psdoc.ps') again 7. Evince will not come to top of firefox, leaving the user confused Test 2: 1. open firefox and maximize it 2. In firefox, go to the page with the link to 'psdoc.ps' 3. click on link to 'psdoc.ps' 4. evince window will open on top 5. Now, click anywhere on the firefox window to bring it back on top 6. click on link to 'psdoc.ps' again 7. Evince does not come to top, once again leaving the user confused -- new files opened in evince does not bring its window to top https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
