You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: update-manager
In Gutsy, pressing the power button usually brings up the shutdown menu. I got used to just pressing the power button and then click on the "Lock" button in order to lock the computer. I started the upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy, and then wanted to lock the computer while the packages were installing. The computer shut down without asking. I think some package switched the power button back to its defaul behaviour during its upgrade. This package should be identified and restore the behaviour which was configured before upgrade. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy: Power button shuts down https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/213243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
