I still have to use this everytime I login sudo /etc/dbus-1/event.d/20hal stop
but that dose not help with the xsessions-error log becoming several thousand
megs in size.
I installed all the recent updates even the one for cups but I'm still having
problems with both issues. And its not just laptop related its also on both
desktops.
I would like to stop write access to the log and I would be happy. The constant
disk access to write an error to the log, the clicking and led blinking to the
drive every 5 seconds is really irritating.
