Just bought myself a very cheap webcam (Tchibo, WinXP recognized it as "USB PC
Camera-168"). I installed cheese, but the image was too dark, barely visible.
So I looked up the FAQ of cheese, and according to them I tried running
gstreamer-properties
to change the settings. But the program crashes, e.g. when changing the
Video-Input.
The output on the console was as follows:

My system runs on Hardy Heron, AMD64, doing daily upgrades. Ubuntu didn't ask
me to submit a bug-report, I did this by hand.
