Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

this is madness: when Rhythmbox starts up, it normally just starts up
and loads my media files from a (read-only) NFS mount and everything is
fine -- THIS time it started up and then stacked up over 6000 dialog
boxes informing me that the NFS mounted files were read only and
therefore it cannot "save song information"

what sort of song information would it have to save??? It is a media PLAYER,
it should play media, no?
Why should it want to play WITH my media files? ;)

Anyway, 6000 X-Close buttons is way too many to click, and this had
never happened before so if this is due to some upgrade and its a new
feature that cannot be turned off, I guess I'll have to hunt for a new
media player. it is nonetheless a bug to open 6000 copies of ANY dialog
box, especially 6000 identical dialog boxes that can only be closed one
by one.
