Binary package hint: rhythmbox
1) Ubuntu 7.10
2) Rhythmbox 0.11.2
3) Party Mode to be responsive and functional.
4) Party Mode is very unresponsive with "Visual Effects" enabled.
With Compiz-Fusion running (which is enabled per default in Ubuntu 7.10) the
application Rhythmbox because very unresponsive in "party mode".
Party mode is quite useful and I must disable Visual Effects (via
Appearance Preferences) for it to work as intended.
The visualizations also tend to crash while in party mode however that
bug has been filed.
