Hey, So, the interface isn't changing radically lately, except for navigation and usability improvements.
As for Ubuntu's improvements, there's a plan to make it easy to view/merge/export upstream these changes, but it's not finished yet. What some people do is they export a tarball with ubuntu translations and either merge them with their own translations, ask their translators to take a look so they do them themselves, or just adopt Rosetta as their official translation facility, which makes things easier. If you choose to do this, Sébastien has already said, you'll be able to maintain your own set of PO templates in gaim's product page, and you'll have control over what people want to translate for the official Gaim templates. Ubuntu will keep having a pubished pot with the versions available in the released versions of the distribution, as this is necessary for the creation of the language packs. Again, there are plans to make it easy for people who translate the "official Gaim" to automatically send those same translations to the Ubuntu branches. -- Rosetta Translations https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/38330 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
