@arand Thanks for all of the data, that helps a lot. From looking at the log it looks like the last time that GPM gets notified of a battery level that it's at 8 percent and that the discharge rate doesn't make it "action level". This is likely caused by the battery being old.
What I'd recommend is adjusting your thresholds so that actions happen sooner on your battery. The values that are probably most useful are the GConf keys: /apps/gnome-power-manager/thresholds/percentage_action /apps/gnome-power-manager/thresholds/percentage_critical /apps/gnome-power-manager/thresholds/percentage_low For you it seems like 10, 15 and 20 would probably be good values. -- [Gutsy] Action on critical battery isn't triggered - regression https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135548 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
