Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon, April 1 2008 Software up to date.
Pentium 4 2.5ghz, 512mb ram.

Problem: A message of "Too many open files" appears in Nautilus (seen in
the attach image). Then after that any icon you select in Nautilus
becomes an uknown file and icon changes. And if you try to copy or paste
or open any music files the message will appear again, "Unable to copy,
Too many open files"

When does it happen: After using Nautilus (30mins-1hour) of repeatedly
"copy & paste" of copying a music files one by one to a different
location or folder. Im organizing my music files and picture files. Then
it happens, though everything is still usable except Nautilus "copy &
paste" or by opening the file. I dont know if its a Nautilus problem or
the clipboard. It is not knew, i've experience this since Feisty.

Solution: It can be fixed by logging out-logging in, but the problem
will come back after a while.
