Just thought that I'd let you know that I updated to kernel 2.6.15-20-386 today & the problem seems to have been sorted. I've started Ekiga about 15 time's within the past 4 hours after fresh restarts & it hasn't crashed once. I'll still keep an eye on it though just to make sure.
